Just as learning is child’s play at IOS, the admission procedure too is simple and parent friendly. Follow these easy steps to be a part of the IOS family-
STEP 1: ADMISSION ENQUIRY
To know about IOS please submit the online Enquiry Form from the link or visit the school’s admissions office. Our counselor will get back to you to answer your questions and collect the required information.
STEP 2: SCHOOL VISIT & INTERACTION WITH THE PRINCIPAL
Parents / Guardians are invited to visit the school campus to understand the culture and ethos of the Institution. A meeting can be scheduled with the Principal, so parents can have an interaction with the authorities of the school, ask questions and collect any information they require. This can be done by fixing a prior appointment with the FOE.
STEP 3: REGISTRATION
Parents who wish to apply for admission should obtain the brochure and application form on payment of Rs.1250/-. This can be rendered in cash or demand draft drawn in favour of India overseas school, payable at Jaipur. The application form can be downloaded from the website and can also be applied online . (With a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1250/-).
The parent needs to fill up the registration form and ensure all documents mentioned in prospectus are in order. Kindly intimate the school in case your child requires some special assistance due to any health reasons.
The following documents need to be submitted along with the Registration Form
- Copy of the Birth Certificate
- . Copy of Report Card of previous year (only needed for admission to class 1 onwards)
- Child’s and parent’s Photograph 2, each.
- Aadhar card of both parents and student
Children have to meet the stipulated age requirement for admission to India Overseas School. The required age limit for each grade is mentioned in the table. The prescribed age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admission Committee based on past academic achievements and performance.
A student seeking admission to any class in a 'School' will be eligible for admission to that Class only if he:
(i) Has been studying in a School recognized by or affiliated to Board or any other recognized Board of Secondary Education in India;
(ii) Has passed qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination making him eligible for admission to that Class;
(iii) Satisfies the requirements of age limits (minimum and maximum) as determined by the State/U. T. Government and applicable to the place where the School is located;
(a) The School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate signed by the Head of the Institution last attended and countersigned, if required as provided elsewhere, in these Byelaws;
(b) Document(s) in support of his having passed the qualifying or equivalent qualifying examination; and
(c) Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Birth and Deaths, where-ever existing, as proof of date of birth.
STEP 4: ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION
- Students are admitted on First Come, First Served basis depending on seats
- We conduct no formal interviews with the child or the parent.
- Selected candidates will be required to make the fee payment within 7 days of registration
- The school reserves the right to admissions. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
STEP 5: PAYMENT OF FEES
Once the above steps are satisfactorily completed parents may pay the applicable fees along with documents mentioned in prospectus to confirm admission.
Mode of FEE Payment;
Fees have to be paid in cash/demand draft to be drawn in favour of India Overseas School.
You will receive an Admission Confirmation Letter through courier or E-mail or by hand, from the school. This will inform you about further formalities, to be completed, if any.
Parents will be intimated of the date and time of uniform & textbook issue
Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. Kindly inform the School of your joining date by filling joining form. This is mandatory because Staff need to be informed to expect your child on a particular day and they in turn need to make preparations accordingly.
The time table for your ward will be handed over to your ward by the Class Teacher.
Teachers will assist your child with the syllabi which has been covered in the class till date.
STEP 6: PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM:
There will be a parent orientation program before the beginning of the new academic session. This program will acquaint the parents with the Vision, Mission & Ethos of the school.
